IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC) is a wholly owned entity of Lagos State Government established under the IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation Law, 2013 (now Cap 11, Laws of Lagos State, 2015). IOGC is Lagos State’s commercial oil and gas entity focused on ensuring energy security along the energy value chain, leading energy transition by deepening the use of cleaner fuels in the State.
The company commenced full operations in 2019 and its business activities have since grown over the years spanning downstream operations and gas infrastructure and marketing with plans to include upstream petroleum operations and clean energy solutions in the near to medium term.
IOGC is dedicated to meeting the energy demands of Government MDAs, residents, industrial and commercial businesses across Lagos State and other parts of Nigeria.

LEADERSHIP

Engr. Olalere Odusote
Board Chairman
Olalere Odusote is a seasoned energy expert, with 25 years of experience working across the energy value chain in Nigeria, the UK, and the USA.
He was the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources in Lagos State from 2019 - 2023, charged with the mandate to ensure the delivery of reliable energy to its citizens and achieve energy security for the State. He previously held various roles including as the Structured Ventures Executive at Axxela Limited, Head of Business Development at Oando Gas & Power Limited, and various roles at Schlumberger and General Electric.
