Doyin Akinyanju
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Akinyanju is a leader with proven track record of business growth, efficiency improvement, and profitability increases acquired from 27 years of experience, in numerous management and senior leadership positions, across geographic regions.

Doyin graduated with a degree in Chemistry with honours from the University of Lagos in Nigeria, went on to obtain an MBA from the University of Wales College of Cardiff Business School, and then qualified for the Chattered Institute of Marketing. She also completed Executive Finance training at the International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland.

She was Chief Executive Officer, GE Oil & Gas for West and Central Africa and Chief Strategy Officer for GE Oil & Gas in Sub-Sahara Africa for 2.5 years. She previously held senior managerial positions with Schlumberger, where she spent 18.5 years in global and regional workspaces including Kenya, Ethiopia and Gulf of Guinea. Doyin has served on several boards.

Ms. Akinyanju currently serves as the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation.

Olubisi Oluwakemi Omotoye
Financial Controller

Olubisi Omotoye obtained a B.Sc. degree in Biology (Hons.) from the University of Lagos in 1983, thereafter garnering over twenty-five years post-graduation valuable work experience in various industries, including Oil & Gas, Audit/Accountancy, Banking, Building and Construction.

Her scope of work has traversed performing systems implementation, financial analysis, Project Accounting, Budget, Treasury, Financial Control, Pension and Tax Administration, providing relevant management information, to enhance company performance on both financial and operational levels.

Olubisi, who has put in over fourteen years in the Oil Exploration, Production and Oil Servicing companies, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and serves as the Financial Controller in IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation.

Omolara Sangowawa
Risk and Compliance Manager

Omolara is a result-driven and self-motivated person with a proven ability to develop and support teams in order to maximise company profitability and efficiency.  She is a 1983 graduate from the University of Lagos and holds a Masters’ degree in Finance from the University of London.

Sangowawa is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Registered Professional with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria; a Certified Forensic Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers Nigeria.

Omolara has valuable professional work experience in different areas including internal and external audits, risk management, financial control, pension funds management & administration and human resources, with over 15 years in senior management positions.

Prior to joining IOGC in 2019, Omolara worked with Akintola Williams Deloitte and Touche (firm of chartered accountants now Deloitte Nigeria) and Hydrodive Oil and Gas Limited (Oil Service Company). She was also a  Deputy General Manager: Head, Risk for CrusaderSterling Pensions Limited (Pension Funds Administrator). Sangowawa is currently the Risk and Compliance Manager for IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation.

Ademola Bolarinde
Head, Human Capital

A graduate of Nottingham University and The London School of Economics where he obtained both his Bachelor and Masters’ degrees in Economics in 2000, Population and Development (Social Policy and Administration) in 2001 respectively.

Ademola is a strategic business process development professional, who brings his wealth of experience into developing our Human Capital here at IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation.

His exposure to operations at both national and international levels adds immense value to our process improvement, stakeholder management and capacity building. Bolarinde possesses very strong analytical abilities proven through industrial impact.

Iyabosola Olorunfemi
Legal Adviser/Company Secretary

Iyabosola Olorunfemi, a legal practitioner with over 12 years post call experience has over the past years gathered extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, LL.B (Hons.) from University of Lagos and a B.L (Hons.) from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

Iyabosola started her career with the firm of Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe and Belgore in 2006 and later moved to Oando Plc where she worked across the business value chain which includes Oando Marketing Plc (now OVH Energy), Oando Energy Services Limited and Oando Gas and Power Limited (now Axxela Limited).

Olorunfemi is currently the Legal Adviser / Company Secretary of IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation.

Kayode Anibaba
Head, Gas Commercialization

Kayode is a passionate and driven professional with a back ground in Finance and Accounting. He obtained a B.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 2008, plus a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Human Relations (MSC) from Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma respectively in 2011, both with distinctions.

Over the past decade, Kayode has garnered financial and project management experience from various companies such as Finley and Cook CPA (USA), 960 Group (a subsidiary of Verod Capital), Lekki Free Trade Zone, BGL and Aristokrat 360 Limited.

Anibaba joined IBILE Oil & Gas in 2016 as the Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, thereafter became Head, Project Finance. Currently, he heads the Gas Commercialisation Department.

Olubukola K. Ayeni

Olubukola started work as a ‘Business Development Officer’ at Fantastic Traders Plc in 2004 and joined Equatorial Trust Bank (ETB), now Sterling Bank in January 2006 as a Banking Customer Advisor, primarily responsible for Relationship Management and New Business Origination. Having earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Mass Communication from Babcock University, Olubukola also acquired a Masters in Business Administration (Strategy) from University of Aberdeen; followed with a Certificate in Public Relations from London School of Public Relations.

With her training in Capital Market Management, FOREX, Data Protection, Health & Safety Act, Banking Codes and Risk Assessment in the banking sector, Bukola transited to the insurance industry as an Insurance Office Manager at Harrow Agency, London between March 2010 and August 2011. Thereafter, Ayeni worked with Metlife Europe, London as a Financial Sales Consultant, then transferred her service to Mutual Benefits Assurance, Nigeria in October 2012 as a Risk Advisor.

Ayeni’s foray into the Oil and Gas industry started in 2013 with Kaniex Oil and Gas. From January 2014, Bukola held various positions in different Oil and Gas companies including Matrix Energy Limited and Danium Energy Resources as Team Lead, Supply & Distribution and Head of Marketing respectively; with more responsibilities of developing business and strategic plans for the companies’ sales and marketing drive : commercial, industrial, marine and retail.

 In 2017, Ayeni joined IBILE Oil and Gas Company (IOGC) as a Senior Analyst, Trading, later became a Unit Head for trading and commercial activities. She currently heads the Downstream Business Department.
